Violá! I did these doodles in preparation for storyboarding the ProSieben Superheroes Campagne.
Actually, they weren’t used for the project but anyhow look good enough to me for posting them here.

For the current Superheroes Campagne on ProSieben I did the animationboards.
Directed by Alexander Krause, executive production company of the spots is TRIXTER and marvelous Alexander Lozano did the great characterdesign.
You can watch all spots on the ProSieben-Homepage or a montage on Vimeo.
There is a spot with Lenny Kravitz, one with Stefan Raab and Steven Gätjen, Annemarie Warnkross got her own and one with Stefan Gödde and Lena Gercke.

Moment mal - es ist doch erst der 1. Dezember...
Genau rechtzeitig zu Weihnachten ist die Kurzgeschichte Alle Tage wieder von Henry Steinhau mit exorbitant lustigen Illustrationen von mir fertig geworden.
Eine wunderbare was-wäre-wenn-Weihnachtsgeschichte für Kinder und Erwachsene, die es hier zu bestellen gibt.

Da in dem Film Als der Weihnachtsmann vom Himmel fiel sehr viele Visual Effects verwendet wurden, war es nötig ein Storyboard anzufertigen. Zusammen mit dem Kameramann Alexander Fischerkoesen haben wir so einen Grossteil der Effekte im Vorfeld der Dreharbeiten geplant, für deren Umsetzung schliesslich Scanline VFX gesorgt hat.

Seit Donnerstag, den 24. November 2011, läuft der Kinderfilm “Als der Weihnachtsmann vom Himmel fiel” nach einer Geschichte von Cornelia Funke in den Kinos.
Ich habe unter anderem einige Concepts für die Produktion angefertigt.

Diese gelbe Knutschkugel – unter Experten auch als “Stanimobil” bekannt – macht seit kurzem die Straßen unsicher. Alle, die das neue Kinderbuch Willkommen Stani Sternenstaub von Arnim Kempter noch immer nicht ihr Eigen nennen, wird sie gnadenlos zwingen den Asphalt zu knutschen.

Endlich ist es soweit:
Das erste Weltraum- oder besser Erden-Abenteuer von Stani Sternenstaub ist da.
Willkommen Stani Sternenstaub heisst das neue Kinderbuch von Arnim Kempter, für das ich die Illustrationen beigesteuert habe. Hier gibt es einen kleinen Einblick in die fantastisch geschriebene Geschichte und das erste Kapitel zum Probelesen.
Im Illustrationsbereich Kinderbuch meiner Homepage gibt es ausserdem noch ein paar weitere Illustrationen zu sehen.

Concept Art for Travian Games

Over the last one and a half years I worked as a concept artist for the munich based browser game company Travian Games. I had a great time there, the job was really exciting and the team was awesome.
Due to the fact we had to develop a whole village including the environment it was an extremly diversified task. As a concept artist you are not simply an illustrator. During my occupation at Travian I had to be an architect as well as a carpenter, mason, sculptor, interior decorator and fashion designer.
Take a look at a few of my concepts and characterdesigns I did at Travian. I hope you can see the fun I had by doing them.

At the end of 2010 I did some storyboarding for a viral spot of the Goodyear “Eagle F1A2″ tyres. Here are a few panels of it.
Edit, April 2012: Recently I noticed the last part of the spot made it to a tv-commercial.
